What is the best cheap way to make well designed advertisements/posters? As in a computer software?

I’m a teenager, and walk dogs to make some money. I need to make posters regularly as they are my only way of advertising. I’ve been using Microsoft Publisher 2003 usually but I find it too strict as to how much you can type, the design etc. Is there another cheap software I can use to make colorful, well-designed, informative posters? thanks.

   I work for a printing house and all of the designers I work with prefer the Adobe Line of Products Indesign, Illistrator, photoshop you can usualy download a trial of these from and when you get your designs done and are looking for poster printing company I would check out Hope this helps
