Where can i find computer software that records your monitors screen?

I seen instructional videos on youtube that have been recorded strait off of the monitor with some kind of software. Does any one know the name of it or where i might be able to get it?

   Do you mean screen captures or really a “recording”?

   I suggest screen capture instead because a real recording will occupy big space in your hard drive.

   Try Auto Screen Capture.
